Bubbles' Mobile Grooming Parlor is a beauty parlor for pets, that comes to YOU! We provide each pet a safe, gentle, cage-less, quiet, and personal one-on-one experience. We come to you, curbside, your home, office or apartment building. Pets are less stressed and more comfortable when they are familiar with their surroundings. Mobile grooming is ideal for those dogs and cats that don’t travel well, owners who have difficulty with transportation, for senior pets, and people that just want to stay at home and enjoy the convenience that we offer!

​My name is Marylynn Newby, just call me Mary!  I have been grooming for over 15 years. I started at the age of 16 at a corporate grooming salon in Westfield, Indiana. Once graduated from High School, I took off for sunny San Diego, California! There I met Kathleen Sepulveda and began an apprenticeship under one of the top professional groomers in the industry. I learned the fine art and grooming techniques required to be successful in the grooming industry. I quickly advanced and assisted Kathleen with the startup of a secondary salon as a salon manager and creative groomer. I was one of 3 groomers to be featured on Animal Planets Dogs 101 Extreme Grooming, and Japanese Chin episodes in season 4. I have also co-hosted a creative grooming class at the Pasadena Convention Center for the Pasadena Groom Expo.

Since moving to Suffolk, VA, I have met an amazing vet and have worked as a vet assistant while also grooming doing business as Pet Grooming by Mary. Learning to be a vet assistant has broadened my knowledge in the medical aspect of pets. I am also a certified professional groomer with International Professional Groomers, INC also known as IPG. My skills, knowledge, and safety standards have been tested and certified.

​Safety of your pet and myself are my primary concern. I have learned over my years of grooming that the environment in which pets are groomed in is the most important. Pets are happier to be groomed when they are in a quiet, calm, and familiar environment.

Kelly Bullock
​Office Manager

Kelly comes to Bubbles' Mobile Grooming Parlor with years of customer service experience with a local veterinary practice as well as other local companies. She is extremely detail oriented and a solution seeker. She has a strong passion for serving clients and their fur babies. Kelly's previous experience in the veterinary field has given her a vast, resourceful knowledge in more than just pet grooming. Her passion for pets and their care radiates to those she serves.

Kelly has been married for 25 years and has 2 children. Her oldest son, 22, is currently serving in the US Airforce and recently married. Her daughter, 14, is a great student and athlete in volleyball and travel softball. Kelly and her family have been involved in many community programs such as Cub Scouts, Roc Solid Foundation, CAPS in Suffolk, SYAA youth baseball and softball, and Adopt a Child at Christmas to name a few.

Even though Kelly works behind the scenes organizing, scheduling, routing, taking calls, emails, texts, etc, she is the glue that holds everything together to make sure our groomers on the road are working seamlessly. Being a completely mobile service, our groomers are always on the road or servicing a pet. To keep our groomers and pets in our care safe, distractions must be limited as much as possible. When there is a "bump in the road" and one of our groomers is running behind, Kelly is taking care of making sure our clients are notified of delays to keep our groomers traveling and working safely. She is also watching weather and road conditions and keeping our groomers informed. She is also the lifeline when GPS fails to give good directions.
